The Glass Firm was a concept of its founding member, C. David Glass, two decades in the making. The Firm is founded upon a respect for traditional legal principles blended with modern concepts to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Firm’s representation of its clients. Our goal is simple - to zealously represent the rights of each individual client to achieve the best possible outcome for their respective case. In doing so, it is our desire to make the process as stress-free as possible by providing our clients legal guidance, instruction, and assistance at each step.  While your case may not go to trial, if it does you want to know you are well prepared.  The Firm and its staff will make sure you and your case are ready.

By utilizing legal knowledge coupled with real-world experiences, David is uniquely qualified to create innovative ways of approaching both the facts and the law behind each particular case. After obtaining an undergraduate degree at the University of North Texas, David spent six years in San Antonio working in the healthcare industry. During this time he worked for two of the area's largest hospital systems as well as the regional blood & tissue center. Next, David attended law school at Texas Tech University where he became actively involved in various advocacy programs, representing the law school in regional and national advocacy competitions in Lubbock, Dallas, Santa Fe, Chicago and Philadelphia, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers.  While at Texas Tech, he was also awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Advocacy as well as the D. Murray Hensley Award for excellence in trial advocacy, an award named for his mentor the late Murray Hensley.

After interning with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Lubbock and clerking for a medical malpractice firm in Dallas, David returned to his native northeast Texas to focus on civil litigation. Over the past two decades, David has secured verdicts for his clients before juries in both Texas and Arkansas. He was selected by Thomson Reuters™ Super Lawyers® in the April 2012 edition of Texas Monthly Magazine as a Rising Star in Texas. This designation is bestowed upon no more than 2 1/2 percent of the attorneys practicing in Texas and is made by peer nomination. David was also selected a Texas Super Lawyer in 2023 and 2024 as published in Texas Monthly magazine.  This peer review designation is reserved for the top 5% of the attorneys practicing in the state.  David has been an AV Preeminent® rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell® since 2015. This peer review rating, generated from evaluations by other members of the bar and judiciary, is an objective indicator of a lawyer's high ethical standards and professional ability.   A member of the Texas Bar Foundation, David is among the 1/3 of 1% of Texas attorneys invited to become fellows in the Foundation.  The Foundation's members are nominated because of their dedication to the administration of justice and high professional standing among their peers.  As stated by the Foundation, "[m]embership is composed of the most elite Texas attorneys."

David has represented individuals and businesses in litigation before both state and federal courts in Texas and Arkansas. He has argued cases on appeal to the Texas Sixth Court of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court, as well pursued cases on appeal before the Arkansas Court of Appeals, Arkansas Supreme Court and the Fifth and Eighth Circuit Federal Courts of Appeal. David has prosecuted and defended claims in a wide array of cases to include those involving premises liability, nursing home negligence, professional liability, personal injury, products liability, wrongful death, toxic and environmental torts, labor & employment, contract disputes, business and partnership disputes, insurance coverage, negligence, civil rights, eminent domain, riparian rights, real property disputes, construction disputes, consumer protection, probate & estate litigation and complex family law. In addition to his trial practice, David is retained by individuals, businesses and governmental entities to provide general counsel to guide them through various legal issues they may encounter.
